The Sims 4 tomato plant not in oasis springs

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.46.18.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? None
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try and find a tomato plant
What happens when the bug occurs? There is no tomato plant
What do you expect to see? There is not the tomato plant where it used to be in oasis springs.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

When i go to the community garden in oasis springs, where the tomato plant used to be, there are only flowers, carrots and the lemon tree. I've run a repair game and tried it with no CC/Mods in a new game, help.

    Hi

    I can still see the tomato plant there.

    What do you have instead of the tomato ? For me it's in the same planter as the carrot and the sage bush.

    Did you also delete your cache files after removing the mods ? Could you try yet another save ?

    I'll try deleting the cache files now, thanks

    EDIT: it didn't work i still have 2 carrot plants and zero tomato

     Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

    You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

    After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

    Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

    • Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
    • Tray Folder
    • Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
    • Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
    • Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
    • Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

    The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

    @crinrict Hey! I have the same problem.. since I installed S4 a few days ago, I could not find any tomatoes :-( And I searched everywhere..

    There have been some problems lately with plants that do not want to grow where they should. You can bypass it although it is a bit cheat.
    You can look for it in the Gallery. Select "rooms" and "most popular" then enter the #garden tag. Try also to enter #plants There will be a lot of it and it will take a while before you find it, but it will be there for sure
