The Sims 4 Vibing Streamer Gear Digital Content - Installed but items missing.

I just installed The Sims 4 on my PC via EA App.

As you can see in the screenshot attached all the free or digital content is said installed (and I can find all of them while playing) but I can't find any of the items from The Sims 4 Vibing Streamer Gear Digital Content. I tried reinstalling the app and game, cleaning the cache, both more than once and nothing works.

Can someone explain to me why is this happening - and I read that I am not the only one - and how to fix it? Why can't I find the items on my game?

Not only we are facing several problems and bugs with the game we are also facing constant problems with the EA App.

Note: The screenshot is in Portuguese but I highlighted the proof that The Sims 4 Vibing Streamer Gear Digital Content is installed.

    I was finally able to fix the problems with all the add-ons I wasn't being able to install via EA App for all my games including The Sims 3 and The Sims 4 - here to share with whoever sees this thread the step-by-step. Note: The EA App is broken. Until EA fixes it we will have to use whatever is left of Origin to do what EA App cannot.

    1. Uninstall all the games and EA App and Origin - if you have them installed;
    2. Restart your PC;
    3. Download and install The EA App and Origin again;
    4. Install all the games you want to install via EA App (if you are trying to download The Sims 3 leave it for last - put first any other game to download and then The Sims 3);
    5. You probably won't be able to download some add-ons from The Sims 3 and The Sims 4 and it's okay;
    6. Close the EA App and open Origin and login into your account;
    7. Origin should immediately start to repair every game you installed via EA App and also download all the add-ons EA App wasn't able to - if Origin does not start this process automatically quit Origin, open EA App, quit EA App again and open Origin again - this should do the trick;
    8. Wait for Origin to repair and/or download everything that is missing, then quit Origin, open EA App and repair all your games with EA App;
    9. Open your games and "voilá" you should be able to play all your games with all its add-ons and no issues.

    For those who try this step-by-step let me know if it works with you as it did with me.

  • @FilipeBSAlves  Are you missing any other content in-game?  And are you searching for the content in Buy mode, or have you looked through the entire category for each item?  I ask because searches can be unhelpful at times.  If you're not sure where to look for the LED panels, look in Objects by Function > Lighting > Wall Lights.

    @puzzlezaddict, no, I'm not missing anything else just The Sims 4 Vibing Streamer Gear Digital Content. And, yes. I already tried to search by category, item per item, searching the name of the items... They are just not installed...
  • Update: Tried to uninstall and install the game once again. It didnºt work. The EA App isn't installing the content. I keep receiving an error.

    @FilipeBSAlves  First, cancel the download of the extra content.  Then clear the EA App's cache:

    https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/

    and repair the game: click Sims 4 and then Manage > Repair.

    If that doesn't help, please uninstall Sims 4 and reinstall into a new folder, specifically one on the root level of the drive of your choice.  For example, C:\Games is fine, but C:\Program Files\Games is not.  This folder should be one that you create just for this purpose; don't reuse an existing folder.

    While reinstalling, disable your antivirus if you use a third-party program.  As long as you're not doing anything else at the same time, your computer should be safe.  If the download works, set exceptions in your antivirus for EADesktop.exe and TS4_x64.exe before launching Sims 4.

    Tried all of that already and it's not working.

    I don't think the problem is anywhere but in the EA App server - I can download any other game and add-ons with no issues.

    And as you can see in this thread and in others, players have been facing issues installing The Sims 3 and The Sims 4 via EA App for over a year. When it was possible to use Origin, they were able to install the games with no issues, while using EA App they were still facing the issues.

    I really appreciate your help, but we really need an intervention from EA. They are the only ones who can fix this.

    Heya @FilipeBSAlves

    Took a look at your account and everything seems to be configured correctly to me.

    We did make one change however, could you try fully restarting the EA app and then downloading the content again
    and let me know if you still see the issue?

    Hi, @EA_Cade! Thank you so much for reaching out.

    I tried all that and some more (uninstalling the games again, cleaning the EA App cache, and fully restarting the app and the PC).

    When I try to install the games again, I keep facing the same issues with the same packs from The Sims 3 and the add-on for The Sims 4 - note that I can download and install anything else from these games and the other games from my library.

    Don't you guys have any other alternative method to install the games? Can't you give us special access to Origin for example so we can install from there? We have people here that last year had problems installing via EA App and immediately try via Origin and had no issues.

    I just want to play my games. Just that.
