love10010 Sorry for the late reply; it looks like your post was moved to this forum after the fact, and it was buried under newer posts.
At any rate, you should be able to cancel the downloads once and not have them start again. If that's not the case, disable automatic updates in the EA App, under Settings > Download. You might have to cancel the downloads one more time after that.
If that doesn't help, there's a workaround I can offer that's not supported but has worked for a few other users. Let me know if you're interested.
