Toddler Ignored sentiment not going away.

For some reason my toddler has the 'ignored sentiment' for both parents even though both parents often spend time with them and often do things with them like hugging them and everything. There is no option to apologize and cheats are not working. 

I have tried the cheat 'modifyrelationship  -100 sentimentTrack_Hurt_ST_attention' numerous amounts of times. I've tried changing my sim's names to make it easier because I wasn't sure if hyphens in the last name was ruining things. I've tried using MCC to remove the sentiment but the negative moodlet and the stupid sentiment is still there. I literally don't know what to do here. I literally removed the negative moodlet from one of the parents a while ago but after a recent update it came back. When I go into MCC the negative moodlet is not there.
