Toddler with maxed skills not receiving Top Notch trait

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? Français
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.58.63.1010
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get to Work, Get Together, City Living, Cats and Dogs, Seasons, Island Living. Outdoor Retreat, Dine Out, Parenthood, Laundry Day, Backyard Stuffs, Toddler Stuffs, Bowling night, Kids room, Vintage Glamour, Cool Kitchen stuffs, Spooky stuffs
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a toddler with all his skills maxed out, age him up.
What happens when the bug occurs? When aging a toddler with all his skills maxed out he does not receive the « top notch toddler trait ». He does receive the bonus with his new skills being at level 2 though.
What do you expect to see? I expect the Sim to receive the trait as a reward
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

The patch notes from November 12th update marked this bug as fixed but I still have this issue after updating my game.

    @mimilu04 Could you test another toddler to see if it happens any time ?

    Just start a quick new save with toddlers, cheat up the skills and age them up.

    @mimilu04 So I tested this on my save and the toddler did get the top notch trait for me.

    Is the toddler a soon to be occult of any kind ?

    Just start a quick new save with toddlers, cheat up the skills and age them up.

    I did a quick new save with a couple of toddlers, cheated their skills up, and indeed got the trait! Maybe the issue was that the skills were maxed out before the update in the previous cases?

    Anyway, thanks for your help 🙂 .

    @mimilu04 It's possible that that was an issue but if so, that would still be a bug.

    Do you have a save game backup from before the problem toddler aged up ?

    In the back up I have for this save that toddler did not have all the skills maxed out yet. I'll check if maxing them now give me the trait.

    So I played an earlier save where the toddler in question had all skills but one maxed out and he got the trait when he aged up.

    It seems the only occurrences the bug happened were when the toddlers had already maxed out all the skills and reached their "birthday" date (but did not age up yet) at the time of the update.

    @mimilu04 I'm glad to hear that. I'm moving this to tech as random issue.

    If you want to go back to the save where it didn't take, you can just add the trait via cheat.

    So i do not have an early save.
    Is cheating the only way to get the trait?
    Or may i wait an update?
