Tomarang disappeared, items have broken texture (red and white)

I tried everything I could find online thus far, clear cache, repair game, move mods folder, and delete localthumbcache.package, tried a new save, reinstalled game, started game as administrator. NOT...
cc or mods removed

    Nevermind, I found a satisfactory fix. I, somehow, was able to go into the world by pressing play in the load saves menu instead of just pressing resume game, which uses the same save file, so idk why that doesn't work, but anyway. So I just went, saved my household and lot, and started a new save file, which seems to be working now.

VampireCompany​  Please manually uninstall For Rent.  You can probably do so through the EA App, under Sims 4 > Manage.  Clear the EA App's cache before reinstalling the pack:

If that doesn't help, close the App and kill the EABackgroundService in the Task Manager's background processes list.  Open [install location]\The Sims 4 and delete the EP15 folder inside.  Then open Delta and delete the EP15 folder there.  Clear the EA App's cache again and reinstall the pack, then test all the previously-broken content in a new save, still with no mods or custom content.

    puzzlezaddict​ So I seem to have fixed the issue, turns out I had to install the game on steam as well, since some of my DLCs are on steam for whatever reason. So I have to load the game from steam instead of EA for it to work.

    The issue now is, when I try to enter my save, the screen stays loading indefinitely. I tried a new save, and things were fine, which probably means my save file is corrupt. Is there a fix for that?
