Travel Bug

Is anyone else experiencing a bug where the entire household travels with you no matter where you go? When I follow my teens to school the parents come too, even if they’re already at work. And then when they come home from school, the entire student body and faculty come home with them. Does anyone know what’s causing this? It’s a new save and this is after the most recent update.
