Trying to merge households crashes the game and other issues

first off I can't transfer/move any of my sims (even if they get married) It completely closes the game and origin out. As for the taking forever to load when traveling or going into CAS, that wasn't a problem I had until recently so it's annoying. Lastly I had a sim die, she came back as a ghost I added her to my family I have given her Ambrosia like 5 or 6 times and the only thing that happens is a question mark appears above her head. I don't know if maybe it's because the game froze or glitched or something when she was dieing.

It seems maybe I'm the only one having any of these problems, but hopefully someone can help me. I don't believe it's my computer because it's pretty new and meets all the requirements for the game, also the game was working fine at first.

but please let me know if anyone know's how to fix any of these problems.
