Are you using any mods in your game ? Have you tried repairing the game through Origin yet ?
- I do not use any mods, and if I have modded files I have them disabled due to buying new packs recently. How do I go on about repairing it through Origin?
Make sure the game is closed, then right click on it on Origin.
You should get an option to repair the game.
If that doesn't help, could you post your Computer's DxDiag?

You can attach the txt file to your post directly.- The first repair did the trick! Thank you so much. Unfortunately the main saved game seems to be forever broken. Constant blue box and loading when starting the game. The recovered version seems to be fixed now though.
