@skycastleshay If you have any files in ConfigOverride, in the same Sims 4 folder, please remove them.
Otherwise, please disable any apps you use that come with overlays: Discord, Steam, etc. Disable the EA App in-game overlay too, under Settings > Application.
I started the game without my mods or saves installed and the issue persists. ☹️
- skycastleshay6 months agoSeasoned Rookie@skycastleshay Tried to edit the post but couldn't for some reason. I was able to get it to work. I haven't reintroduced my mods or GShade back in yet but what helped was I actually had a Windows 11 update (that must have dropped in some time today since it wasn't there yesterday) and I repaired the EA App.

@skycastleshay I'm curious what update this was. If you're willing, please check the Reliability Monitor and let me know. Click Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day. Today is on the right. Find the update that helped, right-click it and select View technical details, copy that information, and paste it here. Or, if it's easier, you can post a screenshot of those details.

Sure I don't mind sharing at all. It was actually three updates. I'm assuming the antivirus one wasn't the one that helped but I'll include all three...
