It's a bit poor....the servers have been down now for hours.
Do EA not have a backup system that kicks in when there's a problem? It's a lot poor if they haven't.
Have they tried turning it off and back on again - I give this advice free, as it was the best suggestion EA have ever given me. It didn't work, but as it seems to be their answer to everything, I was just wondering if that's what they've tried at their end.
Additionally, some information via Twitter, Facebook, their official site, even an owl carrying a message, would be helpful, let people know what's going on, how long it might be, how long it's been down, it would save a lot of questions. Even an announcement on this support forum, because a lot of people (and I mean a lot) will currently be thinking their game or installation is broken.
Why the big secret?
If you say "We hope to have it fixed in an hour" and it isn't, that's okay, but at the moment I have no idea whether to try in an hour, this evening, next weekend, 2021 sometime in July....
