sixtiesbaby62 The underlying cause here could be low storage on your computer, so please make sure you have enough space on your C drive. I don't know how large your Sims 4 user folder is, but the computer needs 20-25 GB free with the folder stored locally, or OneDrive may try again to push it to the cloud. And game updates can temporarily take a lot of extra space, which may explain why this keeps happening.
Can you see the Sims 4 user folder in Documents > Electronic Arts? If so, right-click it and select "Always keep on this device."

In general, I'd suggest not allowing OneDrive to touch your Sims 4 files at all. But if you'd prefer to keep using it, that guide has a couple suggestions for how to prevent it from causing problems.
