Unable to launch Sims 4 "The app timed out"
This issue has been going on for four days now. I've been trying to launch Sims 4 on my computer.(using steam) However, when the EA loading game prompt comes up it stops abruptly. Then, I get another message from the EA app stating "The app timed out". It keeps asking me to make sure that I'm connected to the Internet and try again. I've tried restarting my pc, uninstalling and reinstalling Sims, and launching from the EA app. I'm at a loss here please help.
Nevermind, The reason why I was not able to launch Sims on my steam client was because on my EA app I was logged in to a different account that was not linked to steam. The way I was able to fix this was to select the steam icon on the EA Login window, and linking my steam account with EA app.
