Unable to play newly bought Sims 4 DLC

@lilysadork  You need to install the pack through Steam, and in order to be able to do so, you need to first install the base game through Steam.  A pack you own through Steam will not download into the program files of the Origin or EA App version of Sims 4.

Hello.  I recently purchased 2 new packs on Steam but they won't show up in the game or in the EA App/Origin.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game entirely, no luck.  I tried clearing the cache and repairing the game in Origin, no luck.  I can see that the files for the two packs (Vampires and Realm of Magic) are in the game's file folders, but they won't show up.  I also haven't had much luck from either Steam support or EA support, so I'm really hoping the community can help me here!  

@kanamihope The packs have to be installed depends on how the base game is installed. Is the gase game a Steam install or a Origin/EA app install?

@kanamihope   You have to launch the Steam base game and install the packs to the Steam base game.  In Steam go to the My Game Library tab. Right-click on The Sims 4 base game image and click Show Game Details. Click the Expansion Packs, Game Packs, or Stuff Packs tab depending on what pack you purchased. I think this is the way for the Steam version as I have never used the Steam version. I think Steam provides a code you can use to install (redeem code) the packs in the EA app. This should work if you linked your Steam account with youe EA account.

I have already installed them via Steam, which is why there are files in the games folders for them.  They aren't showing up in the game, though.  Steam doesn't give product codes--it should be automatically linked to my EA account.  All my other packs/stuff show up ☹️

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Expansion Packs I bo ght it on stream and played normally until I bought 2 extra packs back. But in-game and EA," it says, that I don't own this expansion pack, and in-game, not show-add-on packs. The extra pack I'm talking about is: the sims 4 snowy escape the sims 4 cottage living I have contacted both Stream and EA, they don't know why and say it's not their fault, let me contact the game developer, how do you fix this? I tried to solve this problem all day and couldn't solve it.
What happens when the bug occurs? You can't lose money and play games. I'm very anxious, I want to play a lot. I'm not very good at speaking English. Sorry if I didn't understand.
What do you expect to see? Expect to see the expansion packs purchased, shown in the game and on EA. Thank you.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Another image in the stream says I own an expansion pack, and another image in EA says I don't have a expansion pack that says, even though I previously bought the game on the stream all the time, there were no problems until I came across these 2 expansion packs.

@kanamihope  Please delete the GP04 and GP08 folders shown in your screenshot and repair the game in Steam: open your library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Properties > Local files > Verify integrity of the game files.  Then restart your computer and reinstall the packs, and see whether they show up.  If not, please restart your computer again and look a second time—Sims 4 sometimes fails to load new packs the first time the game is launched.

Did you purchase these expansions from Steam directly? Do you have Family Library Sharing set up with anyone on your Steam account, or are these expansions owned from your own Steam account? 

I tried that and restarted a few times, but no change...
