Unable to play Sims 4 at all after 2026 update

So this is what I get, I have tried everything  (cleared cached, repaired game in ea app) I can find, is maybe uninstalling and reinstalling everything my only option?   Unable to start The content...

tenshidarlinn​  Please answer my questions to the second user above.  You can also try clearing the EA App's cache and repairing the game.

    thank u so much! deleting the GameVersion.txt file fixed my game
