Unable to start: the below file is corrupted [aaarrraaaggghhh!]

Hi all! 🙂

I'm hoping you can help me. This is my first major startup issue with TS4 and I'm getting a bit concerned.

The following message comes up when I try to start the game:

And as I expect this may be the first follow-up question, here is a screenshot of the location of that mentioned file...

Any advice or common experience would be appreciated - I just want to know if this is salvagable or if a re-install is needed.

Open Origin rightclick the game and select Repair.

Repairing the game did not work for me. Someone please help. I repaired the game, but the Play button is still dark and game can't be opened. Ugh!

Your issue is not related to this thread. Please do not post to unrelated threads but create your own thread and explain your issue there in as much detail as possible if you can not find an existing thread that is related to your issue.
A new posting should contain this info:
What happens
When did it start
What have you tried
Do you use Mods or CC
I do remember seeing a thread where there was an issue with the start button. You can see if you can find that.
