Same thing happened to me. You just have to update your mods or if you don't want to do that then you can turn off the mod switch in the game. The out of date UI cheats mod is what's most likely causing you problems.
Moved my mods out, updated UI and still cannot play.

@1moo62 Please move your entire Sims 4 user data folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. Then open your Origin game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair,
When you launch the game, a clean Sims 4 folder will spawn with no content. Don't add anything to it yet; just start a new save and see whether you can play for a bit. Let me know either way.
If you still can't run the game, please describe what happens when you try. Please also run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
