unsaved game stuck screen

i have a biiiiig problem, so i opened up my computer to carry on playing my game, which i didn’t save, and the screen was stuck and i really don’t want to restart the whole thing- i’m already married!! 😭😭 please help

    Unfortunately, if the screen has frozen, there is no option for the game to work longer. There can be various reasons for this.
    The first and most common reason is outdated mods and CC.
    To check it, just move the mods folder to your desktop, start the game and play without mods.
    However, another cause may be some problem with your graphics card.
    To check this DXDiag of your computer is needed.
    To gather a DxDiag on your computer, please follow the steps here: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/HOW-TO-DxDiag-for-Sims-3-PC-Only/td-p/1049584/
    (Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
    Copy and paste or type "DxDiag" in the new field. (Without the quotes) > ENTER
    Wait until the green bar is gone > Click on "Save all information"
    Save the file to your desktop)
    Here at AHQ > click on "Reply" > click on "choose file" > navigate to the "DxDiag.txt" on your desktop. > select the "DxDiag.txt" > click on "Open"
    Type a few words in the text box > click on "Submit"
