Why Neighborhood Stories off is not working?

Hi, does your PC crash? because you select 'crash' tag.

And could you tell us more details what happened in your game actually?

1. Did you turn it off for both played and unplayed households?
2. Do you use MCCC?

2. Yes, but it happened before I started using MCCC. I have this issue since a long time

I tagged crash out of better options for this topic. There is not much to tell: turning of Neighbourhood Stories just is ignored by the game and they work normally like they would be on. It happens both on old saves and new games, mods and no mods. I have all newest updates, also tried to reinstall whole thing and it keeps going on

For example, do your played households or other households move into house somewhere without you, or have a baby? Some of pre-made households have a baby designed.

How do you set the Neighborhood Stories panel? Never change that?

How about you?

I turn off neighbourhood stories complitely in the game settings. And like I said, I'm not talking about pre-designed babies. Lily Feng gets pregnant out of nowhere (last gameplay), plenty of sims change jobs, crazy amount of pets adoptions. It looks like game ignore my settings

Hi, did you try without MOD, didn't you? How about notifications? That can check from clicking the house mailpost. I am vanilla player, but never happened this issue. So, I wonder that what difference between you and me. You mentioned 'it happened before I started using MCCC. I have this issue since a long time'. Is that playing folder continuous you use to play? If so, could you try to test with flesh new folder at last? Process is ;

1. move your play 'the Sims 4' folder to the desk top and rename to 'the Sims 4 Backup' (EA folder is empty)

2. launch EA app with empty EA folder and click three lines upleft then click 'Help'>'App Recovery' in drop down menu to delete cache

3. after EA app appeared again, launch the Sims 4

4. In Sims 4 main menu, open option from upright three dots and quit the Sims 4 without anything

5. close EA app and stop 'EABackgroundService' from task manager

6. delete all except content folder and GameVersion file from new the Sims 4 folder

7. copy only your save folder from 'the Sims 4 Backup' folder to new

Then you open the Sims 4 again and set the game option as mentioned previous my comment and try to play.

If this try fail with nothing effect from MODs and dust...
