Unsuccessful hacking for programming

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try hacking under programming on the computer.
What happens when the bug occurs? The the hacking task never completes.
What do you expect to see? The task should complete. A notification should pop up that tells you if your sim made any money from the hack or not. There used to be a progress bar around the task bubble.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
This is more of an issue with the freelance programmer career, as many of the jobs require you to hack something, and if the sim can't complete the task, then the task for the gig cannot be completed either. I've tried it on separate sim households. I removed all the mods and still get the same thing. I can have the sim trying to hack something all day and nothing ever happens. It is possible that this could interfere with other jobs that have home assignments or work at home tasks that require a sim to hack something.
