Vacation + Toddlers

I was just wondering, i want my sims to go on vacation for about 2 days, and i wanna leave my toddler behind, will they die? because even when my toddlers get sent to daycare they dont get taken cared of. So will my tot be okay?

they should be taken care of at daycare so they shouldn't die

I would save the game before going on vacation (new name) and try what happens. If they do get taken away, that's a bug.
