Venue Drop Down Menu glitch

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? I own everything except for 2 of the kits; I JUST purchased Cottage Living after updating from the last patch.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don't know; I can only tell you what happens in my game
What happens when the bug occurs? I updated with the most recent patch and purchased Cottage Living. As mentioned, I own all expansion, stuff, and game packs, and one kit (Bust the Dust). After updating my game, I updated my mods. When I loaded my saved game, I had some issues (I will get to that in a moment). I went in and removed ALL of my mods AND CC. Total vanilla game. I performed a repair via Origin. I created a Brand New Game/Save. The issue persisted EXACTLY as it had before I performed the above steps. (In other words, none of the usual solutions worked). The issue is with venues. A couple of different glitches have happened: A) I go into build/buy mode and there's no Information icon (upper left hand corner of screen is empty). I cannot go to Manage Worlds (icon is there, but nothing happens when I click on it). I cannot close out my game unless I go to Manage Programs on my computer. B) I go into build/buy mode and while there IS an information icon, but is either NO drop down menu for venue types or the ONLY venue types available are residential (tiny home, regular, haunted). Commercial lots only seem to have their pre-existing lot-type available; residential seem to only have residential type lots available (I did not check every lot in every world, but I did check quite a few). I tried this in TWO New Games (as well as my saved game). I tried bulldozing several lots, removing all lot traits and challenges, but that makes no difference.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see a full venue drop down menu on every single lot!
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

Please describe the patch or change you made. I updated the Sims with the most recent (July 2021) Patch, then purchased and installed Cottage Living.
