My sims character wear gloves in playmode even though it is not chosen. He has blue gloves on with every outfit. In create/change a sim he hasn't gloves. How do I get rid of the gloves?

@Pernilla1965 Do you use custom content? This sounds like the effect of a bad cc item. If you do use cc, please remove your entire Mods folder, delete localthumbcache.package, load your save, and try to remove the gloves. All your cc will be gone, but you can quit without saving your progress, so don't worry about the missing items. The point is to see whether you can remove the gloves, or whether they disappear on their own, with no cc present at all. Let me know either way.
@Pernilla1965 It is usually CC that creates the issues posted about in this section, but could it be that you have SE and have equipped the sim with the mountain climbing outfit? Just click that away, and the gloves won't be seen.
