here's my DxDiag file
Emelyn702 Thanks for the dxdiag. Please update the driver for your laptop's integrated graphics chip. You can get the newest-available driver here:
Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator." Restart your computer after installing and before doing anything else.
If you're curious why this is happening, it's common with this family of graphics chips and old-ish drivers. Sims 4 should be using the Nvidia GPU only, but when you do something to toggle away from the game, your laptop may switch to the iGPU immediately, which wouldn't be unexpected.
Please make sure the game is using your Nvidia GPU though. Open Config.log, inside Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4, scroll down about 30 lines, and find the graphics card listed. Let me know if you see the AMD Radeon device rather than the Nvidia GTX 1650.
puzzlezaddict Thank you for the reply! I will download it and may I know if this is the correct information that you've mentioned?
