when i download the Sims it says my pack is downloaded but is not in game

Hey, yesterday i re- downloaded The Sims 4 and on the EA app it says i have cats & dogs downloaded but when i go onto the game and on to my expansion pack to see whats up, its got a greyed out button...

    To clear the cache of EA app:


    1. Select the three dashes in the far-left corner of the EA app.
    2. Scroll to Help.
    3.Click App recovery.
    4. Select Clear cache.

@Gagea25 thank you that has worked a little but now i have to download it and the download button is greyed out for the pack
