While playing the Sims 4, my PC will suddenly shut off.

I'm having the same problem. After 30 or less minutes of playing my computer switches to "power saving mode".

I didn't have this problem unlit I deleted sims 4 from my computer but not completely (don't really know how, I justed actually only pressed "delete", yeah go on laugh I was younger). Then all my customised options were lost but that's not the point.

So since I "deleted" Sims 4 and started playing again I was having this problem.

I tried deleting some other sims 3 expansion packs because that's what I was told to do but it didn't help at all.

What now???:mansurprised:

ALSO: sorry if the solution for my specific problem is listed on other replies, my english is not the best and I'm from Greece. Can somebody please explain it to me? I realized people on other replies are suggesting solutions either for Windows 8 or laptops. I don't have a laptop and I have windows 7. My hard drive is a bit over loaded with sims 3 expansion packs and cc but it still has plenty of room.

  • Could you check on the temperature of your computer. Speccy (just google) is a good program to check.

Sounds like your computer might be overheating.
