White screen after the sims 4 Cats and Dogs issues!!

I didn't mean to comment on yours, I apologize. I don't know how to work this. I wanted to mention some of the problems I have with the new cats and dogs pack and hope that there is a solution. I've had this pack since it came out and still I am not able to play it so I feel like I wasted my money. When I load into my game it's perfectly fine but when I try to go to create a new game it stays on a white screen for hours. So I thought maybe I should just go play with my family and adopt a pet from there. Only problem is when I load into my family, I can't click anything. I can't give my sims commands, I can't go to buy mode, I can't travel, I can't even see my sims wants and needs and there is no picture of them in the corner, I can't click on them or anything. I know usually in the sims there is some button you can click to take their needs and everything off the screen but I forgot which key that was but I doubt it would fix the problem. My game is broke period. Yes, I do play with mods, so when I turn off the mods it lets me go to CAS but still doesn't let me play with my sims. Furthermore, I have heard many mention the broken mods and what should be uninstalled or needs updating so I have just been deleting mods and go back into the sims to see if it will work. Then some say to just take out all the mods and and cautiously put them back in to see which ones might be affecting the game. So I took out all my mods but two but every time I load into the sims the mod manager says I still have all my mods in the game though I have pretty much emptied out my whole mods folder. So i'm just confused and frustrated at this point because I don't know what to do. It really sucks that I haven't been able to play this game which I have spent so much money on.
