Why can't my sims buy void critter cards

My sim child goes to the void critter game station, but when they get the message to buy cards from the PC and they look on the PC , there is no option to buy the cards. So how can they buy them , an...

Okay, thanks Crinrict, I will try those and see, but I did go to another house and they could buy the card packs on their computer. It seems to be solved after I downloaded the fix for the water slide.
