why is Sims 4 requiring Origin to be running
I did the pre-load of Sims 4. When i click on the sims 4 icon, it is requireing me to have origin running to play. Why is this and how can i turn that off.

Cause that's how it works now and you can't turn it off.
Per the the FAQ an internet connection is not required to run the game. Just for install and registration. So i ask again, why does Sims 4 require origin to be running to play the game?
You don't need Internet. Just put Origin in offline mode.
