Why is the sims 4 not loading and only showing a white screen?

The sims has not been loading for me lately. I have had this problem before but eventually, it starts working again, but it hasn't this time. When I open the game it gets all the way up to the screen that says "The Sims 4" and then the screen goes completely white and temporarily exits me out of it. I have removed all my mods and cc from the game, I have repaired it multiple times, I have uninstalled and reinstalled it, and nothing has helped. I think it may have something to do with the error type message I got when repairing my game once. I have been downloading more cc lately than I normally have had in a long time so every time I went to play the game I would press repair just to make sure everything was still ok. One time I got a message that I have never got before saying something about my files being in the wrong place. I thought it was nothing though because the message quickly went away and the game continued repairing itself, but the game has not worked since then. Does anybody know how to fix this?
