Why is there a Time limit to play The Sims 4 on EA Play?
OK, I've Been Playing the Sims Games since the Original SimCity Game Came out, Bought Every Iteration of that Game up to SimCity 4 Deluxe, Then I Bought All the Sims, Sims 2, Sims 3, and now digitally own all the Sims 4, you used to actually get a physical copy of what you purchased, now not anymore, it costs extra. Also now you have to be connected to the internet to play, and now to play you have to subscribe to a service. Now to keep playing you have to upgrade to the higher plan or you run out of hours in you're plan. A warning window will pop-up and tell you how many hours you've gone over, I'm assuming time is running out on me! Now a little more about me, I'm disabled and have been for the last 18 years, I've had to give up meals to make a lot of my game purchases. I've rebuilt friends old computers just so I could get the out of date parts to upgrade mine enough to keep on playing the game at a reasonable speed. At this point I figure I've spent well over $7,000.00 forking over my very limited funds over to EA and various computer companies over the years, and all I've got to say is that the greed of your company has no bounds. I Physically can't work, bring in a paltry amount of money to survive on, and my source of entertainment that was once upon a time available offline and free to play, is now a pay to play online game with limited time constraints put on it and you don't even get to own a physical copy of the game you payed for. Extremely ANGRY rant over. Can we do something about this time limit thing? I thought It was Unlimited on EA Play. Keith Horchens P.S. I'M NOT JUST A KID HERE, I'M 58 YEARS OLD AND GETTING MORE BITTER AS I GET OLDER!
@KHLVH1345 Again, EA Play is the subscription service, that you pay for monthly or yearly, and is not part of the equation. The EA App is the game launcher.
You can't run Sims 4 without the EA App, at least not legitimately. If reinstalling the game doesn't help, which I don't think it will, try uninstalling the EA App with Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine) and reinstalling.
I don't know what this has to do with corporate greed. EA isn't trying to make you pay for more play time; it's giving people a voluntary tool to limit their or their children's play time as they see fit.
