Why is there a Time limit to play The Sims 4 on EA Play?

OK, I've Been Playing the Sims Games since  the Original SimCity Game Came out, Bought Every Iteration of that Game up to SimCity 4 Deluxe, Then I Bought All the Sims, Sims 2, Sims 3, and now digital...

    @KHLVH1345  Again, EA Play is the subscription service, that you pay for monthly or yearly, and is not part of the equation.  The EA App is the game launcher.

    You can't run Sims 4 without the EA App, at least not legitimately.  If reinstalling the game doesn't help, which I don't think it will, try uninstalling the EA App with Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine) and reinstalling.

    I don't know what this has to do with corporate greed.  EA isn't trying to make you pay for more play time; it's giving people a voluntary tool to limit their or their children's play time as they see fit.

                                                                                                                                                                                 @puzzlezaddict I had thought of that on my own and checked to see if I had accidently set a profile for that up... I hadn't, I did double check it since you brought it up just in case I activated it by mistake while there... no I didn't Still getting warning about overage of hours. Canceled and Uninstalled the Game, reinstalling the game hopefully without EA Play involved, and I'll be able to play normally again. 36 Billion, 8 hundred Million Dollar Co. and they just HAVE to squeeze every cent out of us. Corporate Greed at it's best.

    @puzzlezaddict I don't have any limits set on my app, never have this just started recently. double checked to verify the setting in the EA app and even turned off time logging. So far after Uninstalling and reinstalling no more warnings of over hour usage. Rant was just about Corp Greed.
