I'm debating between the two because ill be using it for mostly engineering but i play the sims 4. the w541 model uses graphics nvidia quadro k2100M and the w550s uses nvidia quadro k620M, i want to know if any of these will be able to run the sims 4. I've been searching and can't find any information on it. Please help!!
The graphics card is not really a consumer gaming card but more for business use. You might be able to play it but I find the computer with 4 GB and only 500 GB of hard drive space a bit on the low side for gaming.
Is gaming your main purpose for getting this ? Does it have to be a Lenovo ?
Of those two, the Quadro K2100M will offer the best performance. This is the default resolution and setting as found in the game files.

Keep in mind that while you may run the game on a Quadro GPU, it may not be officially supported, so there may be unexpected complications.
I would personally advise against getting a Lenovo laptop because of the inclusion of bloatware which installs itself onto the PC even when doing a clean install. (The installers are present in the BIOS.)
