Please tell me the game will run okay on this?
@starclassic23 The game will certainly run; the question is what graphics settings you'd need to use. Ultra is probably out of the question, unless you only have the base game. The newer expansion packs (from Seasons on) are more demanding than the older ones, stuff packs are not demanding at all, and the total number of packs will have an effect as well. So you might start with medium settings, turn a couple up to high, and see how it goes.
While playing, make sure the laptop can properly cool itself—excess heat will also cause some throttling and reduce performance. Use a laptop tray or cooling pad, or elevate it to allow air to circulate underneath.
