"Your Game Failed to Launch"

So today I updated my Sims game because I haven't been able to play because of work and after an hour I finally was able to launch it, only to immediately get a "Your Game Failed to Launch" notificat...

@GharmanderSometimes when I launch the game it will stay running in the system tray even if I exit the game. If I try to launch the game that is the error I get. Open the system tray. If the is a Sims icon in the tray- select the icon and click quit. The game should now launch.
