Reward Store Traits Not Working When Sim Is Not Active - PART 2

I forgot to mention that the problem I mentioned earlier occurs if we control another family/group that is in the "same world" as the Sims that have the mentioned traits. For example, I create a Sim, finish it, and buy the traits from the Rewards Store.

If I stop playing with that Sim, or with their family/group if they are all together, and start playing with another family/group in the SAME world/save as my created Sim, the traits stop working.
