I've been a Nintendo gamer from age 7 all the way up until 4-5 years ago when I more or less moved to PC. I bought a 2DS, and it broke in a week due to my own stupidity. Had I bought the accidental damage warranty, I probably wouldn't have been in that boat. Apparently, unlike my DSLite (dropped that one and broke it), DSI (I misplaced it here at the house), and nearly 20 year old Game Boy Advance SP (on its last leg), it cannot hold up to being sat on! I really liked the improvements the 2DS had, just hated it didn't fold. Of course, given, I kept both DSs in a case and never put them in my pocket that often.
