As it has been 15 years since the world of The Sims began, I thought I could share some cool facts with you all...This week's fact is:In the original (unpatched) version of The Sims, the money cheat was ctrl, alt, shift, c - klapaucious and for some reason, changed to Rosebud after the first patch. After 15 years I can still remember the original cheat code but I am happy to say that I haven't used cheats (except some necessary reset Sim cheats or casual modding) since The Sims 2 :smile:

I've never used cheats except when setting up a custom neighborhood. Only then because it is impossible to move a family of sims into a large enough home without doing so. Oh wait, I had to use the moveObjects on/off cheat after university for a bit in TS2 until they patched so that objects didn't get stuck "in use".

Fact #3In TS1 sims kissed to have a baby. :D

I've never even see what the original Sims looked like. I started with TS2.

If memory serves me correct, your Sims, when they have low social needs and have the Tragic Clown painting in their house, the Tragic Clown would come out of the painting and would try to cheer up/make your Sims more miserable. I'm sorry if this is wrong; I haven't played The Sims in 10 years. :confounded:

With my sims it seemed to be "more miserable" and you reminded me why I stopped buying that painting. lol

I havn't played in more than 10 years either. I think the Tragic Clown came after the first EP :smile:
