Happy friday simmers!

How has your week been treating you? Have you sims celebrated Love Day with their loved ones? I hope they had a fabulous day πŸ’ŒπŸ’• And most importantly, have you celebreated Pancakes Tuesday? πŸ₯ž

πŸ—žοΈ Make sure you didn't miss those important news

  • This week we have announced an important update on the future of these forums, which will be closing down in July 2024 and will be integrated to our new EA Forums when those are ready. EA_Cade's thread has all the information listed and you can ask questions or raise any concerns.

  • Have you seen our latest Laundry List? A couple of bugs have been fixed, head over to @EA_Cade's post to see all the details!

  • Finally, the last Sims Delivery Express has brought vitiligo skin features to the base game. Make sure that your game is up to date, and check out all the details about it here!

✨ And now let's move onto the highlights

Happy Love Day! posted here by @BlueSeaWaves

  • Are you in the mood for a challenge? @SoulGal7 is presenting the One-Tile "Box Challenge", yes you read that right! To participate, pick a sim and start off living in a 1x1 tile box with no skills, no job and no money. The goal is to earn enough to expand your tiny box and expand it into a livable home with all the essentials ammenities, until you can eventually leave your box - that's right, your sim cannot leave it until then! There are more additional rules if you want to spice it up too, if this is not challenging enough. To get some inspiration, check out how SoulGal7's sim Grace is handling her first week. It will also give you tips on earning simoleons πŸ˜‰

  • I don't know about you but here, the weather is chilly, wet and very windy. So when I stumbled upon @masajo's newest build, I thought it was the perfect place to escape. Come and discover Villa dei Fiori, a stunning romantic villa situated in Tartosa inspired by the beautiful houses of Tuscany πŸ’πŸ˜οΈ It is composed of 6 bedrooms, so that's plenty of room to house a family or for a couple who needs a spacious house to relax. You can hang out by the pool after a nice barbecue, spend time gardening and even create your own wine. The villa is beautifully decorated with a modern feel. If you think this is the perfect house for your next household, then head over to the Gallery to download it!

  • We often see recreation of famous real buildings in The Sims games, but what about cities? @Damienf519 has created $ Lost Wages $ in The Sims 3, located in the middle of the desert with plenty of casinos. You're right, it is inspired by Las Vegas and the pictures are very promising even though it is only a work in progress! You will recognize some of the most unique hotels and architecture already. This is the perfect place to bring your sims if they feel like a very original vacation or if they want to spend their simoleons πŸ’ΈπŸ’Έ (with moderation, of course). This looks like such a fun gameplay to try out! Also, the amount of work put on this project is insane. Your creativity never cesses to impress me. πŸ™Œ

  • This week's story is brought to you by @Chrinnie who has already been writing two chapters of The Rossi Legacy 🏝️ Not only this sounds like a great plot, it is also combined with the famous Rags to Riches Legacy Challenge! I can't wait to see how far our main protagonist, Angelo Rossi, will get to go and what adventures await him in his new place in Sulani. Within two chapters, he has already accomplished a lot so he seems to be on the right trail! I won't spoil any details for you, I encourage you to have a read for yourself as the chapters are full of details with a little touch of humour.

  • Finally for nostalgic players, @JAL is asking and sharing tips for players who would like to try a Historic Gameplay πŸ•°οΈ. It's true that our sims get bored very quickly without their technology (like the rest of us, don't pretend) and are keen to use their phones as soon as they have a moment of free time, which can easily break the immersion of a historical gameplay. There is useful advice and good gameplay habits being shared, as well as handy mods that can make your life easier when it comes to those types of challenges, and good ideas regarding the scenarios you are going for. I strongly encourage you to take a look at all the replies because everyone is sharing precious suggestions. We can wait to see your next historical stories πŸ“

That concludes another week! See you soon simmers, and have a great weekend 😊
