FRIDAY HIGHLIGHTS, NOVEMBER 10TH - A WEEK ON THE SIMS FORUMS

FRIDAY HIGHLIGHTS, NOVEMBER 10TH - A WEEK ON THE SIMS FORUMS

Sul sul Simmers!

Happy Friday, I hope you all had a great week! It looks like Winter is catching upon us, I have bought plenty of different teas to enjoy near the stove at home 🍡 How is the weather treating you? Are you doing any fun outdoor or indoor activities? Are you already looking for Christmas gifts? I have heard Maria Carey's Christmas song playing in a store over the weekend, so I guess Holiday season has officially started πŸŽ„

Let's get those highlights started!

Is this how you feel when you get mentioned in the weekly highlights? Posted here by @Lucy_Henley

  • The Sims 4: For Rent is going to be released soon and simmers are already getting ready! This week, @EgonVM is helping you getting prepared with your residential build 🏑 by showing their builds, sharing tips and advice, and is inviting you to share yours. I love those community threads where everyone gets to ask for questions, best practices and share their ideas, and I also appreciate the dedication that some folks have regarding upcoming packs. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with when The Sims For Rent gets out! Feel free to check out the thread to get prepared if you're thinking of moving to Tomarang!

  • Speaking of building preparations, @_DelilahsRose_ is wondering if you had any mistakes or funny stories to share about your constructions? You have done it, after hours of studious concentration, you have finished the perfect house, your sims will adore it - wait... you seem to have forgotten something, but what? Oh well, you will figure it out later! Those were my thoughts the other day when I started playing with my sims and couldn't understand why they all needed to use the toilets so badly, because I simply had forgotten to include a toilet seat in my dream bathroom 🀦 Apparently I'm not the only one, it looks like some of you are forgetting about mail boxes, toilets (🀝), fridges or even roofs 😢

  • In this week's poll, @Brd709 wants to know if you are playing through each life stage or age up your sims whenever you want and the results are very tight. Many play with aging off and age up their sims when they want to but a lot of you also like to go through each life stage as it happens. Except for children and teenagers, I always keep my sim as the same life stage as the one I set up when I created them. I would love to have a big family tree but I'm not ready to deal with the sorrow that comes with each of my beloved sim passing πŸ₯Ί What about you, what is your favourite way to play?

  • With the cold weather, what we need at the moment is a bit of heat and sunshine β˜€οΈ Thankfully, @ashcrash19's got our back with the beautiful Boho Oasis Duplex πŸŒ…πŸŒ΄ While it is not fully furnished yet, this is going to be a great base for those who want to have a feel of summer holidays. You can also bring your horse there too! I am in love with the courtyard and the stunning mosaic floors and arches. If you want to use this duplex in your game, make sure to show us how you decided to decorate it!

That concludes another round of highlights for this week. Have a great weekend, stay warm 🧣, and see you next time πŸ‘‹
