I'm getting the exact same thing (Windows 10). This is ridiculous.

Same issue, windows 11 pro, i9 14gen, 4090rtx, all drivers current, just crashes back to the EA APP when trying to launch. Tried changing the compatibility mode to a different windows version, didn't help at all. Hope this issue gets fixed, was really looking forward to playing sims 1 and 2 again :D
I was about to buy this. I think I'm going to wait. Now. Sorry you guys are having issues.
