game won't save error 16

Trista682​  I don't know much about Sims Medieval, but since you haven't had another reply, I can try to help.  First, try starting a new save and see whether you can save your progress.  If you still get an Error 16, try creating a new admin Windows account and playing there.  Make it local, as in, don't link it to your Microsoft account or any email address.

If the new save works, try renaming the old one to something simple, like test .
