Games on a computer with no internet

Alright, so basically my laptops battery broke and it can only stay on for 10 minutes maximum before shutting down but that’s kind of besides the point. So, I really wanna play the sims 2 and I dug up my old windows xp computer but there’s a slight problem and that is that it cannot connect to wifi and I have no idea how to set up Ethernet stuff. So, is there any way for me to install the sims 2 onto a usb or something from my origin library and move it onto my windows xp computer with no internet ? Or any way different from that I can get it on there ?

  • So how would I go about putting the game onto my windows xp without internet? Do I need to take origin with it or is there a way for me to put just the game on the USB?

@manasnotdead You need internet for that.
If you have an ethernet cable you would have to take the computer near the router and connect it to have internet access.
Otherwise you would have to look for a wifi usb adapter for pc
and try to get the drivers for Windows XP.
  • Ah I see it sucks I won’t be able to do it without internet. My wifi router is drilled into the basement wall in a tiny closet full of spiders so it’s quite impossible for me to get the clunky computer down there haha, I’m trying to figure out how to share a connection from my laptop with an Ethernet cable though hopefully that works although it didn’t seem to be earlier I might figure it out.

@manasnotdead If your laptop has Internet access from wifi, you can use Internet Connection Sharing on the laptop network adapter to share with the desktop.
(but I don't know if it will be possible between two computers with different Windows OS)
