Getting The Sims 2 into Origin, with product codes

Hi!

Back in the day, I purchased The Sims 2 and all expansion packs for it. I was hoping it would be possible to redeem the product codes for them in Origin, but I don't seem to be able to.. does anyone have any experience with this? Am I going to have to spend money on an external DVD-drive for my computer? Or is there any way that I can contact EA/Origin staff to get help and have them added to Origin?

    @xSmellyFeetx Registering The Sims 2 on Origin is not an option anymore, regardless of if you own physical copies or not. EA is no longer giving out TS2 registration codes or adding the game through customer support.

    Sorry for the bad news, but if you don't own the game on Origin already, your only option is to use your physical copies.

    @xSmellyFeetx Unfortunately, The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection is no longer available for registration. The promotion was shut down in 2018. You can purchase an external drive to install the game from your disks; if you need any help with installation, feel free to ask.

    @mate54 is it possible to have the game added to Origin if I manage to get it installed? So I can play without using a disc? I know there are other, more elaborate ways to do it, but I'd rather just use Origin, as it's quick and simple.

    @xSmellyFeetx , if you already own the disks and have an external disk drive (if you computer does not have one) then you can still install the game and play it. If you need help installing the game, simply start another thread.

    can someone give a key which can be used on ORIGIN? my physical disc copy is lost and im unable to put the code, i need the game so bad! pls help ☹️((

    @nu0ue4upwon7 It is not possible to register The Sims 2 online anymore. You will need a disk copy to install it on PC.
