Launching The Sims 2 UC forces me to activate (with Origin i think)
Hi all,
Sorry for (perhaps) asking obvious questions here..
I've had Sims 2 UC in my EA account for years, and still visibile in the app.
I can login to the EA without any issues, and installing the game.
However, when I launch it, an origin window pops up, asking me to active the game by entering username and password.
Of couse, my EA credentials doesnt work.
When contacting support, they just say that the registration servers are shutdown (since 2018), and that I only can play offline with original discs.
What to do?
Nope, never got it to work on that particular machine.
Contacted the support again, and specifically asked if "running the game on a arm64 system" would be the issue.
Got a straight "no"
But, i tried it on another system which is x64 based, and it worked like a charm there.
The lesson here is that the EA Support step up their game and actually answer my questions instead of just reading their "manual".
