placing objects is extremely difficult in the sims 2 ultimate edition

Hi it seems im having a problem trying to place items. they seem to not want to be placed where i want them to be placed and i dont really know what to do. but other than the item placement problem the game works fine.😕mileyindifferent:

I've found that when I try to place some objects, they automatically flip 90 or 180 degrees. For instance, I select a chair from buy mode, move it against a wall, click to place it, and it flips in a different direction. I haven't experimented enough to know if this happens with every object or just certain ones.

Also, I tried changing my input device (went from laptop touchpad to a mouse) and that didn't make any difference.

Yessss I was looking all night for someone else having this issue. I thought it was my cc but it isn't. And it isn't graphical. The objects just choose which direction and where they want to be placed! It's so annoying! Please someone fix this! I can't even build my house!

Keep in mind that some objects will automatically rotate to be against the wall or whatever.

The glitch actually makes the objects not be placed the correct way against a wall. The objects don't place the position and direction you try to place it. Like you click to place it in the position you want and as soon as you click it like glitches to a completely different direction as its clicked. Sometimes it glitches and goes outside the house! Ugh it's annoying.

Ok so I fixed my game completely! If you have windows 8, set your compatibility mode to windows 7! Works perfect after that!
