Now I can't Load Sims 2 Legacy

I hit play and the loading screen comes up and a second later it just exits. Nothing. Can't get into my game at all. (This right after the game demanded I repair it even though it was working fine last night)

I wasted my money with this. This 'new' version has more bugs than the 2005 version. I get pink soup, I get random no warning bounced out of the game crashes for no apparent reason, and now I can't even get into my game at all.

If you are going to relaunch a game, can you please at least do us the common courtesy of fixing the known issues that plagued the game and give it an honest effort to not introduce even more issues that now make the game completely unplayable. I cannot wait for the indie game developers to make something better than this. I'm so sick of trying to make this game work when you have done NOTHING to make the issues we have been voicing for DECADES better. 

I hate that have a day I can play and I CANNOT because of how you have messed up this game.
