Sims 1 Legacy CRASH!
I'm making this post because im seeing a lot of different types of crashes for Sims 1 Legacy but not any that are like my own.
Firstly, the game starts up and loads just fine, going through the EA video as well as the Sims splash screen with the scrolling text at the bottom. however the problem starts immediately after.
When the town loads , all of the plots are empty. the sound and music is playing in the background and when i click around it makes the noise that it would usually make if something was inaccessible. however when i click the arrows next to the neighborhood 1 logo, nothing happens.
I can freely click between the vacation towns but they are also empty.
The game immediately crashes whenever i try to make a sim family. there is no error message, no weird vortexing like some people are having, it just closes out completely. i have uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times since launch, last time being 2/5/25 at about 2 pm Ct. Ive repaired the game through the EA app as well
