[The Sims 2] Sims 2 Website - Why won't the website let me log in?

hello, i play the sims 2 and i cannot log into the exchange. i forgot my password and now i get an error saying that i have tried to log in to many times with the wrong password. i have searched and searched to find help. i would like to have a tech help me but i do not know where to go. please help!!!

how can I register to use the sims 2 exchange for the sims 2 series

So I've been trying to log in to the Sims 2 website for well over a week now and It won't let me. Is the Sims 2 website still active? I hope so...

the site's log in portal is having issues and wont let anyone log in so I would wait a while to register...
