I can get the Sims 2 Ultimate Collection to actually launch on my M1 MacBook Air through Windows 10 Arm on Parallels. Unfortunately, the game is almost unplayable because has terrible graphics issues due to being unable to recognize my graphics card. ☹️

@holychristian44 , there is a way to play the game and you have to do a few extra steps to get the game to play. If you would please start a new thread, I can help you to get the game to run.

Before you do - can I just mention that if it’s about installing Rosetta 2 - I have already done this.
the game does load, the neighbourhood does load, even creating a sim works fine. But once you click on a lot, within a few seconds the game crashes.
i have managed to get the game to run for about 15-20 mins by setting all of the graphics to low, turning off shadows, high detail, etc. But on a brand new laptop, a game like this should really be able to cope.
I’m sure we’d all really appreciate Aspyr creating a patch to fix what seems to be a simple problem. Just as they did updating it to 64 bit - although that was quite a wait too if I remember.
the sims 4 can be fixed with a quick click in the settings and the game is much more intense. Why not sims 2?
please say you have a solution that does not require changing the default game settings...?

@Goth1cPanda90 , I do not have a solution at this time. I am on a Mac personally, but mine is an Intel chip one and is a Desktop model.
I had asked the other person to make a separate post because their issue was with Sims 2 Ultimate Collection which was only available for Windows OS to keep the issues separate as this thread is mainly about Sims 2 Super Collection from Aspyr and the Apple App Store.
